高RAP掺量温拌再生SMA混合料性能研究及应用

Research and Application of High RAP Content Warm Mix Recycled SMA Mixture Performance

  • 摘要: 传统厂拌热再生技术由于高温加热过程中RAP老化严重,导致其掺量通常限制在20%-30%之间,难以满足高掺量再利用的需求。同时,高温加热过程能耗高、碳排放量大,不符合绿色低碳发展的要求。针对当前厂拌热再生技术中RAP掺量受限及碳排放较高的问题,本文提出将温拌再生技术应用于SMA路面上面层,通过降低拌和与施工温度,减少沥青老化,以探索提高RAP掺量并降低碳排放的可行性。通过系统研究高RAP掺量温拌再生SMA沥青混合料的原材料选择、配合比设计、路用性能及施工工艺,成功实现了高RAP掺量的温拌再生SMA沥青混合料应用于实体工程。实体工程应用结果表明,采用该技术的路面使用状况良好,未出现明显病害,同时降低了材料成本和施工能耗,经济效益显著,对推动绿色道路建设和可持续发展具有重要意义。

     

    Abstract: Traditional plant-mixed hot recycling technology faces significant challenges due to the severe aging of RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement) during high-temperature heating, which typically limits its incorporation rate to between 20% and 30%, making it difficult to meet the demand for high-volume reuse. Additionally, the high-temperature heating process consumes substantial energy and generates significant carbon emissions, which contradicts the requirements of green and low-carbon development. To address the issues of limited RAP incorporation rates and high carbon emissions in current plant-mixed hot recycling technology, this paper proposes the application of warm-mix recycling technology to the surface layer of SMA (Stone Mastic Asphalt) pavements. By reducing the mixing and construction temperatures, the aging of asphalt is minimized, thereby exploring the feasibility of increasing RAP incorporation rates and reducing carbon emissions. Through systematic research on the selection of raw materials, mix design, pavement performance, and construction techniques for high-RAP warm-mix recycled SMA asphalt mixtures, the successful implementation of a 40% high-RAP warm-mix recycled SMA asphalt mixture was achieved and applied in actual engineering projects. The results from the practical application demonstrate that the pavement using this technology is in good condition with no significant defects, while also reducing material costs and construction energy consumption, yielding notable economic benefits. This study holds significant importance for promoting green road construction and sustainable development.
