Abstract:
Due to the linear spatial distribution of linear projects and their complex construction environments, construction points require continuous relocation, which presents significant challenges for construction management. To explore methods for enhancing the management efficiency and safety of linear construction projects through BIM and smart technologies, this paper conducts a systematic study on the deep integration of BIM technology and smart site systems based on project case studies. It elaborates on innovative approaches such as 3D modeling, construction simulation, and Dynamo parametric modeling with BIM, achieving project visualization and refined construction management. Addressing the high mobility of workfaces, the research developed a hardware device called the "Smart Site Guardian" and its supporting platform, integrating personnel attendance, environmental monitoring, and smart broadcasting functions. This establishes a holistic management system covering personnel, machinery, materials, processes, and environmental factors. The results demonstrate that BIM and smart site technologies significantly improve construction efficiency and safety, providing a comprehensive and replicable technical solution and management framework for the intelligent development of linear projects, offering substantial practical guidance.
