Abstract
Anti-floating anchor technology is widely used to resist the buoyancy generated by underground spaces, water supply, and building drainage structures. In anchor design, technicians pay too much attention to the pull-out bearing capacity and ignore the durability of anchors. After geological surveys of the site of a new water plant project in South China, it is found that groundwater has a general micro-corrosive effect on the steel bars in the concrete structure. To ensure the anchor's durability and reliability and meet the water plant's long-term use requirements, it is necessary to take corresponding anti-corrosion measures for anti-floating anchors. This paper conducts anchor pull-out tests under two conditions (without/with anti-corrosion coating). The test shows that the pull-out force of the anchor coated with anti-corrosion coating does not decrease significantly and meets the pull-out requirements.
