Functions and Construction Points of Smart Construction Site

Smart site construction is a way to intelligently and delicately manage the construction site by using advanced information technology such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and big data.In recent years, the development of smart sites in China has been rapid, with the market size increasing by more than 250% from 2016 to 2021.This article combines the technical standards of smart sites in different places in China to explore the role of smart site construction in promoting the development of intelligent construction and new building industrialization. It conducts field research on key management elements such as engineering personnel, mechanical equipment, materials, methods, and environment on the construction site, and studies the functions of smart site systems for real-time information collection, interoperability and sharing, work collaboration, intelligent decision analysis, and risk pre-control.It summarizes that smart site construction should be carried out according to the requirements of local governments, combined with the scale of construction and actual needs, as well as the evaluation principles of "existence, newness, and quality".
