Design and Finite Element Analysis of Cast in Place Support for Large Span Continuous Beam Edge Span

  • In bridge engineering, the stress situation of cast-in-place supports for large-span continuous beam side spans is relatively complex, and it is a key link in temporary structures during bridge construction. The safety of its bracket design and structural stress analysis is crucial for construction quality and safety. In order to ensure the safety of the construction process, this study aims to explore whether the design and structural construction stress analysis of large-span continuous beam edge span cast-in-place supports meet relevant requirements, as well as whether the overall stress of the support structure is safe. This article first designs the cast-in-place support for large-span continuous beam edge spans, and then uses finite element software to analyze their stress, focusing on the strength, stiffness, and stability of each load-bearing component. The calculation results show that the designed support structure is reasonable, and the strength, stiffness, and stability of each component meet the standard requirements. The overall structure is safe and reliable. In summary, the design and stress analysis results of the large-span continuous beam edge span cast-in-place support in this study indicate that its structure is safe and reliable, and can meet the construction requirements, providing valuable reference experience for the construction of similar bridge projects.
