Abstract
The paper mainly introduces the basic principles and characteristics of pile foundation testing methods such as low strain, high strain, static load test, drilling core, acoustic transmission method, self-balance method, etc. Through a comprehensive comparative study on the applicability of foundation pile inspection methods, the analysis and conclusions are: In general, the combination of low strain method and core drilling method is the first choice for integrity testing. First, use low strain method for general inspection, and then use core drilling to determine the details of the defective pile body. When the pile diameter is large or long, or when the underground continuous wall is tested, the acoustic transmission method should be used; the static load test can directly obtain the vertical bearing capacity of the foundation pile. When limited by the construction site, time, and funding, High strain method can be used to calculate the bearing capacity of a single pile; if the pile diameter is large (diameter> 800mm); The self-balance method should be used for the test pile in a slope or narrow field, but the measured bearing capacity of the single pile needs to be corrected. Therefore, several detection methods should be fully integrated in the integrity and bearing capacity detection of pile foundation projects so as to achieve the unity of quality, safety and economy.
