Research Progress on Crack Repair Materials of Asphalt Concrete Pavement

Under the combined action of vehicle load and natural factors, the asphalt concrete pavement is prone to cracks, which seriously endangers the durability of the road. The research and application of related crack repair materials to realize the rapid repair of road cracks is essential to ensure smooth roads and the safety of drivers. Based on the characteristics of commonly used asphalt concrete pavement crack repair materials, this article summarizes the development status of three different types of repair materials, namely asphalt materials, chemical grouting materials, and asphalt self-healing materials, focusing on their repair effects and mechanism, and analyzes the main existing problems in various repair materials. Combined with actual application effects and development needs, the paper points out that in the future, asphalt concrete pavement crack repair materials will continue to develop in the direction of high performance, high efficiency, cold construction and green environmental protection.
