Research Status of Chloride Ion Curing Performance of Cement-based Materials

  • Chloride ions can cause corrosion of steel bars and directly affect the durability of concrete. Studying the chlorine binding capacity of cement-based materials is of great significance to the prediction of the durability of concrete structures. The paper summarizes the researches on the chloride ion curing of cement-based materials at home and abroad, including the influence of cement mineral composition, mineral admixtures, and environmental factors on the effect of chloride ion curing. At the same time, it explains the current testing methods of chloride ion content in concrete. On this basis, the research status at home and abroad is summarized, and the following conclusions are drawn: A lot of research works have been done on chloride ion curing of concrete at home and abroad, but the researches tend to focus on single factor research, lack the comprehensive research on the chloride ion migration performance and steel corrosion.
