Abstract
Facing the new trend of rapid development in the digital economy, construction project management unit need to undergo digital transformation to enhance management efficiency and achieve high-quality development. This article briefly introduces the significance and evaluation methods of digital transformation, and then emphasizes the importance of digital transformation for construction project management unit in improving departmental collaboration, strengthening financial capital management, and enhancing risk prevention. It points out the issues in the digital transformation of the construction industry, such as the integration of multi-source data, software user experience, and decision support systems. Taking the example of Guangzhou Panyu Construction Management Co., Ltd. introducing an integrated digital management platform, this article introduces the methods and results of digital transformation of the company. Practice shows that the platform standardizes and innovates business processes, promoting information sharing; the multi-level management cockpit system improves the quality and efficiency of management; the comprehensive and efficient decision support system and internal and external assessment and evaluation system enhance the quality of decision. After digital transformation, the company has achieved refined full-cycle management of the construction projects involving all business functions, which provides a reference for similar construction project management unit in their transformation.
