Simulation Analysis of Incremental Launching Construction of Basket Handle Tied Steel Arch Bridge

  • To study the mechanical properties and safety of a basket style tied steel arch bridge during the top pushing process, taking the top pushing construction of a basket style tied steel arch bridge spanning a superhighway in a certain project as an example, Midas/Civil finite element software was used to establish a full bridge model, and the entire top pushing construction process was finely divided and studied.The results show that there are four unfavorable conditions in the pushing process, which should be paid attention to and analyzed. In the process of incremental launching, A-shaped support plays a significant role in improving the integrity of the structure, and the guide beam plays a key role in reducing the deflection of the main beam. The strength, stiffness and reaction force of the temporary support in the whole process of incremental launching construction meet the requirements.
