Incremental Costs Analysis of Main Structure for a Residential Building with Assembled Integral Shear Wall Structure

  • This paper researches the relationship between the incremental costs of main structure and the level of prefabricated building. Eight schemes are established for analysing based on a project at Guangdong Province. The results show that the conventional scheme called three boards method is not the best way for reducing costs of main structure from the view of economy. Because the scoring rate of vertical prefabricated components is higher than the scoring rate of horizontal prefabricated components. The vertical prefabricated components have positive influence on saving the incremental costs of the project. The incremental costs increase with the advancing level of prefabricated building, and the rate of incremental costs between A level and AA level is the fastest, the growth ratio of national standard and provincial standard is 79% and 43%, respectively. The incremental costs of the national standard is 19.8% and 29% higher than the provincial standard at the AA level and the AAA level, respectively. The incremental costs of the national standard is almost the same as that of the provincial standard at the basic level and the A level.
