Abstract
By classifying the sources of relative standard uncertainties in the measurement of formaldehyde content in water-based coatings and quantitatively analyzing various influencing factors, the results show that when the confidence interval p=95% and the inclusion factor k=2, the relative expanded uncertainty of formaldehyde content in water-based coatings is ±7. 52%. Therefore, it can be determined that the uncertainty introduced by the fitting of the standard working curve accounts for the largest proportion. This study can provide scientific basis for controlling the measurement of formaldehyde content in water-based coatings, putty and other samples measured by acetylacetone spectrophotometry.
