Diagnosis of Disease in a Precious Lingnan Ming Dynasty Wooden Structure Architecture and Analysis of Repair Cases

  • In order to carry out the restoration work of the few surviving Ming Dynasty wooden structures in the Lingnan region, including the national cultural relic protection unit Wuxian Temple and the first floor of Lingnan, a survey was conducted on the damage of the wooden structures in the entire building complex. The results showed that the structure and enclosure components were damaged to varying degrees due to aging, human factors, surrounding environment, etc. Researchers have taken targeted measures to repair and maintain wooden structures, repairing hidden dangers that affect structural safety such as purlins, beams, and columns that have been affected by moisture or insect damage. The overall construction effect is good, and the repair construction technology has reference significance.
