Abstract
The aerogel foamed concrete has super high thermal insulation performance, excellent fire performance, high durability as well as low moisture absorption performance, thus it has become one of the most popular research directions in the field of building thermal insulation, energy saving and carbon reduction. In order to make a thorough inquiry of the energy-saving performance of aerogel-foamed concrete walls in four different typical climate zones in China, this paper applies aerogel foamed concrete and traditional foamed concrete to the exterior walls of residential buildings through the building energy consumption simulation software EnergyPlus, and makes a comparative analysis of the annual and monthly energy consumption of buildings. It is found that aerogel-foamed concrete can save energy by 2. 1%-6%. The research results can provide a reference for the promotion and application of aerogel-foamed concrete.
