Abstract
The complexity of medical buildings, with numerous equipment and specialized requirements for each department, distinguishes them from conventional structures. The project of the Women and Children's Hospital in Haizhu District has enhanced the quality of construction by employing BIM refinement management tools in various aspects. This paper discusses the feasibility of establishing detailed BIM models and component encoding for facilitating equipment information retrieval and management during the operation phase of large-scale medical buildings. Through the implementation of BIM's in-depth design and site layout, collisions during the construction process have been effectively reduced, thus improving spatial utilization efficiency. Furthermore, the application of BIM-refined masonry assembly technology has enhanced the integrity and construction quality of walls. The utilization of BIM-based intelligent inspections, technical disclosures, and visual progress demonstrations has provided a visual and illustrative interface for construction process management, effectively enhancing information dissemination efficiency.
