Abstract
The weak corrosion resistance of concrete-filled steel tube structures leads to a reduction in the bearing capacity of the structures, which in turn raises significant safety concerns. In recent years, CFRP, as a kind of lightweight and high-strength composite material, has attracted much attention because of its ability to effectively improve the bearing capacity of structures. In this paper, a five-point loading test was carried out on one concrete-filled steel tube arch and three concrete-filled steel tube arches confined by CFRP to explore the influence of different factors on the bearing capacity of structural members.Numerical simulation was carried out by finite element software to verify the test results, ensure the accuracy and reliability of the model, and provide a theoretical basis for subsequent numerical simulation and engineering practice.
