Application Research on BIM Technology in Green Construction

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a crucial tool for advancing green construction. Taking the construction project of Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology as an example, notable results have been achieved by applying BIM technology to detailed design, construction process management. Analysis of the lecture hall acoustics system promoted rational layout of sound reinforcement systems, and airflow organization analysis ensured comfort for users. The construction schedule has been adjusted and optimized, and simulation optimization of the experimental building construction saves 2 months in construction period, and the length of the foundation pile and the depth of rock penetration are controlled to meet the design requirements. The project ultimately received a three-star green building certification, providing valuable insights for the application of BIM technology in green construction.
