Study on the Analysis of Vibration Reduction Effects of Different Measures for Micro-vibration Protection Structures

  • Aiming at a micro-vibration-controlled building, this study proposes effective vibration mitigation solutions to reduce external vibration interference within the building and meet micro-vibration control requirements. Multiple vibration reduction strategies were investigated, including adjustments to the basement raft thickness, material selection for vibration isolation trenches around the micro-vibration-sensitive zone, the inclusion or exclusion of basement structural components, and the layout of external double-row piles. A comprehensive finite element model integrating piles, soil, tunnels, and the micro-vibration-sensitive zone was established to conduct parametric analyses of different vibration control schemes. The results demonstrate that a basement raft thickness of 1.4 m combined with 0.2 m-thick rubber-filled isolation trenches achieves optimal effectiveness. Additionally, the inclusion of basement structures and the installation of external double-row piles significantly reduce peak vibration velocities and root mean square (RMS) values in three directions within the micro-vibration-sensitive area. The optimized design derived from parametric analysis effectively satisfies micro-vibration control requirements, providing a scientific foundation for vibration mitigation in similar vibration-sensitive buildings.
