Abstract
In order to study the effect of filler powder on the properties of inorganic artificial stone, this paper mixed a variety of filler powder into the formula of inorganic artificial stone , and studies the effects of quartz powder, calcium carbonate powder, dolomite powder and aluminum oxide powder on the properties of inorganic artificial stone, such as bending strength, water absorption, wear resistance, stain resistance and linear expansion coefficient. The results show that the wear resistance of inorganic artificial stone mixed with 20 wt% quartz powder is 74% lower than that of the blank sample, and the linear thermal expansion coefficient is increased by 2 times. In the content range of 0-20 wt%, the bending strength of inorganic artificial stone gradually increases with the increase of the content of four kinds of powder, and the water absorption gradually decreases. Among them, the inorganic artificial stone filled with calcium carbonate powder has the highest bending strength and the best anti-fouling performance. Compared with the blank sample, the bending strength of inorganic artificial stone mixed with 20 wt% calcium carbonate powder increases by 68.4%, the water absorption decreased by 90.7%, and the pollution resistance value decreased by 48%. Therefore, according to the actual use needs, different filling powders can be used to improve the different properties of inorganic artificial stone and broaden the scope of application of inorganic artificial stone.
