Engineering Geological Analysis and Evaluation of a Section of Guangzhou Metro Line

  • Geotechnical investigation should be carried out before the subway construction, in which the engineering geological analysis and evaluation is an important link.Taking the Pazhou Station to Punan Road Station section of a certain line of Guangzhou Metro as an example, the engineering geological analysis and evaluation are carried out.The design length of this subway section is 20.36km, involving 3 stations and 4 sections. The engineering geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions, and surrounding environment are complex.Through comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the engineering geological zoning, surface water, groundwater, adverse geological actions, geological disaster, and special rock and soil in this section, the conclusion was drawn that the site is basically stable and the engineering construction is suitable, providing a geological basis for the planning and construction of subway projects.
