Structural Design and Problem Analysis of a High School Building Based on BIM

  • BIM has been developed in China for many years and has made significant progress. However, due to various limitations, most projects adopt reverse design methods, and projects implemented entirely through forward design are relatively rare. Exploring how to effectively integrate traditional design methods with new technologies to improve design quality has important practical application value. This article analyzes a design case of a high school building structure, and deeply explores the characteristics and structural design process of the project, as well as the application of BIM technology in such projects and the challenges it faces. By introducing BIM technology, we aim to increase design quality, reduce errors and clashes, and enhance the overall performance of the building, providing useful references and guidance for the structural design of similar architectural complexes, in order to promote further development and innovation in the field of building structure design.
