Research on Lifting and Handling Technology for Large Equipment in Indoor Confined Spaces

  • When carrying out large-scale equipment hoisting construction inside buildings, traditional hoisting equipment and methods often cannot meet the construction needs due to space limitations, resulting in low construction efficiency and increased safety risks. To study the lifting and handling technology of large equipment in indoor confined spaces, in order to improve construction efficiency and safety. This article is based on the Guangzhou Financial City project and analyzes the main difficulties in lifting and transporting confined spaces. It proposes a combination of roof load-bearing structure suspension system, steel structure platform temporary bearing system, rolling car transfer and translation method, and hydraulic jack precise positioning. The research results show that through modular equipment combination, refined force calculation, and whole-process safety monitoring, the lifting challenges under spatial constraints can be effectively solved, achieving significant improvements in efficiency, safety, and cost. This technical system successfully lifted a large equipment weighing 14.6 tons from the ground floor lifting port to the fourth basement floor, even though the entrance width is only about 6 meters. The equipment was still able to be precisely positioned (with an error of ≤2mm), achieving the goal of zero safety accidents. The research results provide a theoretical basis and practical reference for large-scale lifting operations in indoor confined spaces.
