Structure Design of an Aquatic Product Market in Guangzhou

  • The project is located at the the Pearl River in Guangzhou. The structural system is a frame structure with few walls. There are many irregular items, such as torsion irregularity, local discontinuity of floor, thin waist and irregular shape, which belong to out of gauge high-rise buildings. To ensure the safety of the building and avoid the existence of weak links in structural safety caused by irregularity, SATWE and ETABS software were used for overall structural analysis, and the reliability of the calculation results was verified through comparison of overall indicators. Dynamic elastoplastic method was used for supplementary analysis and stress analysis of the floor slab at the slender waist to identify the weak positions of the structure. Based on the analysis results, by improving the seismic resistance level of the upper and lower floor columns, strengthening the reinforcement ratio of the floor slab at the slender waist, and taking special anti-corrosion measures for the special seawater environment of this project, the expected goal of structural safety has been achieved, and the requirements of seismic codes for small earthquakes, medium earthquakes, and large earthquakes have been met.
