Research on Wood Structure Reinforcement and Active Correction and Resetting Technology

  • Due to the long-term erosion of wind and rain and human damage, the ancient wooden buildings, which have been neglected for a long time, will have different degrees of decay and decay, resulting in structural safety problems and great difficulty in repair, especially for severely tilted wooden structure gate towers. This study used external forces on the side of the eaves of the gate tower to lift the roof structure as a whole, temporarily unload the stress of the main beam supporting the lower part, and then use epoxy resin to fill and pour to repair the damaged parts of the wooden structure, and glue steel plates at the positions with concentrated shear and severe decay, and use bolts to press the steel plates and wood, so that they combine into a new composite structure to bear the load of the gable roof structure, thus completing the reinforcement and active correction of the wooden structure. The research results show that the collaborative repair technology of using shoring and steel-wood composite reinforcement can effectively correct the tilt of the ancient wooden buildings, effectively repair the decayed wooden components and improve the structural strength, restore the original appearance of the ancient wooden buildings and increase their structural safety. This study provides an effective method and practical reference for the repair of inclined and neglected ancient wooden buildings.
