Abstract
With the continuous improvement of building requirements and the development of material research, fiber reinforced concrete, as a high-performance new material, is increasingly popular in the civil engineering industry. This article will review the research progress on the impact of fibers on the durability of concrete both domestically and internationally in recent years from four aspects: permeability resistance, chloride ion erosion resistance, freeze-thaw resistance, and carbonization resistance. It will analyze and summarize how fibers enhance the working performance of concrete in environments of permeability, chloride ion erosion, freeze-thaw, and carbonization, and provide suggestions for some research issues.
