Research and Application of Construction Energy-saving Technologies in Urban Ecological Garden Construction

  • Urban ecological landscaping faces challenges such as high energy consumption and significant resource depletion during construction. Taking the landscaping project of Plot E1 in Daganwei, Guangzhou as a case study, this research focuses on construction energy conservation. Through multi-factor integrated analysis of project topography, plant configuration, hardscaping, water systems, construction processes, and equipment/materials. Employing energy consumption simulation and life cycle assessment methods, it systematically established an energy-saving construction technology framework integrating key techniques such as low-energy lighting, recirculating pump systems, and new eco-friendly building materials. This study explores the framework and core strategies for energy conservation during the construction phase of urban ecological landscaping projects. Results indicate that the integrated energy-saving construction pathway effectively reduces construction energy consumption and resource demands. Specifically, the low-energy lighting system achieves over 56% energy savings, while carbon emissions and energy consumption for landscape wall materials decrease by 74.8% and 78.5%, respectively. This research confirms that the systematic energy-saving approach significantly enhances the environmental benefits and resource efficiency of landscape construction. Its modular, replicable technical paradigm provides quantitative benchmarks and empirical support for similar projects, offering crucial application guidance and engineering models for urban ecological landscape development and in-depth research on construction energy-saving technologies.
