Abstract
The development and application of seawater sea-sand concrete can effectively reduce the utilization of natural resources for producing concrete, thereby protecting ecological environments. Adding glass fibers and expansion agents can improve the toughness and compactness of concrete by controlling crack development and reducing porosity. This paper took the proportions of glass fibers and expansion agents as control variables, and designed 7 groups of concrete mix proportions. The compression performance of glass fibers and expansion agents reinforced seawater sea-sand concrete was studied. Research found that the failure mode of concrete is highly correlated with the proportions of glass fibers and expansion agents. The addition of glass fibers and expansive agents can improve the compressive strength of seawater sand concrete, and the increase range was between 4% and 7%. In addition, the addition of glass fibers and expansive agents had no obvious effect on the elastic modulus of seawater sand concrete.
