Research on the Application of Borehole Combined Acoustic Wave Method in Pile Integrity Testing

  • In response to the limitations of traditional pile foundation detection methods, this article applies borehole acoustic logging technology to pile body defect detection. High frequency ultrasound and low-frequency, high-power magnetostrictive sound waves are used to perform directional detection of pile body defects and pouring quality within different distance ranges around the drilling hole. On-site testing has shown that the application of the borehole combined acoustic wave method in pile integrity detection is feasible. With the help of its own electronic compass, this detection method can directionally detect the quality of the pile body, and the detection results are not affected by parameters such as pile length and diameter. This method, combined with coring extraction detection, can detect one pile through only one borehole, effectively overcoming the "one hole view" of the drilling method and reducing the cost of coring.
