Development Trend Analysis of Architectural Design and Application on Low-energy Prefabricated Building with Lightweight Steel-framed System

  • Prefabricated building is one of the important directions to achieve sustainability.Lightweight steel-framed building has become a major light weight prefabricated building system due to the high standardization of components, mature industrial production conditions, wide applicability, convenient construction and recyclability of components, etc.Combining literature review and actual project analysis, this paper discusses that the sustainability of prefabricated building with lightweight steel-framed system needs to be improved through three directions∶construction efficiency, building performance and durability design.It also points out the urgency of durability design research.
