Abstract
The key technology for ensuring the stability of surrounding rock during shallow tunnel excavation in water-rich and geologically soft areas is a core challenge that needs to be addressed in the current field of tunnel engineering design and construction. By selecting the representative engineering case of the Gongbei Tunnel under-excavation section of the Zhuhai Link of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, using the large-scale finite element analysis software ABAQUS, the temperature field changes and frost heaving phenomenon during the artificial induced freezing process of the stratum under different working conditions were simulated. The occurrence mechanism and evolution law of frost heaving effect were revealed, providing a scientific basis for controlling the deformation of the stratum during the construction process and providing reference value for similar projects in the future.
