Analysis of Current Application Status of Long-span Steel Structure Construction Technology Based on CiteSpace

  • To systematically grasp the current research status and development trajectory of the field of large-span spatial steel structure construction technology, this paper conducts a quantitative analysis using the CiteSpace visualization tool on 2,353 relevant documents from the CNKI database spanning from 2000 to 2024. The research findings are as follows: In terms of annual publication volume, the number of publications in this field has increased from 14 in 2000 to 208 in 2024. The evolution trajectory is highly aligned with the policy orientation of China's steel structure industry, exhibiting a trend of slow initial growth and high subsequent growth rate. In terms of core authors, 295 core authors account for 58.59% of the publications, indicating the formation of a stable academic community. Regarding research institution collaboration, construction companies account for 90.58% of the publications, indicating that the technical collaboration network in this field is primarily based on inter-enterprise communication. In terms of research hotspots, as the preparation of construction schemes for large-span spatial steel structures is a core aspect to ensure construction safety and quality, the term "construction scheme" appears most frequently, with a frequency of 101, making it the core research hotspot. In terms of research frontiers, early research in this field primarily focused on prestressing and other aspects, while mid-term research exhibited various manifestations of large-span spatial steel structures. Currently, it is moving towards digitalization and intelligence.
