Abstract
With the BIM application environment gradually shifting to a “data carrier” and “collaborative environment”, 2D and 3D collaborative design has emerged. Based on the current situation of 2D and 3D collaborative design, this paper studies the overall implementation planning content of 2D and 3D collaborative design, which proposes a set of 2D and 3D collaborative design process and compares four mainstream 2D and 3D collaborative platforms. Meanwhile, a kindergarten by collaborative platform A is carried out a 2D and 3D collaborative design application. The results show that 2D and 3D collaborative design can plan the overall implementation of the project in terms of staff setup, timing of BIM intervention, scope of drawings, collaborative design mode and delivery of results. Adopting 2D and 3D collaborative design process in this paper and choosing a suitable design platform of 2D and 3D collaborative design can help improve the design efficiency.
